“Please apply promptly.” Totally true — I got two callbacks last week by applying within 2 hours and dropping a 30‑sec intro video link in the app… For CA roles, putting my TESOL cert right at the top helped with TeachCast and another platform. Small caveat: confirm they pay for student no‑shows before you block out your calendar.

Seeing the CA demand — my hits jumped when I set LinkedIn alerts to ‘past hour’ and replied with a 60‑sec Loom demo plus one‑line PST availability. For remote roles, I also drop a Google Calendar link for mock slots; half my interviews booked the same day. @hsimpson45 is right about speed, but if it’s K‑12, tailor the demo to phonics; for adults, swap in workplace vocab.

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‍‌‌‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌

What bumped my CA callbacks was adding one line in the app: ‘ELPAC prep + CA ELD Part I/II’ and attaching a one-page sample lesson plan; @jblack90 is right on speed, but keep the PDF under 1 MB or some district portals choke. Anyone else get traction by naming ELD levels directly?

‌‍‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‌‍‌‌‍‍‍‌‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‍‌‍‍‌‌‍‍‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‍‍‌‌‍‌‌‍‍‌‌

For California posts, I always state that my TB test is current and Live Scan cleared — because these are “real-time,” that tiny detail has gotten me faster callbacks. If you don’t have them yet, put ‘scheduled for [date]’ so you’re not passed over for the remote roles.
