Using multimedia to enhance ESL classes

I’ve been experimenting with multimedia materials in my ESL classes, and the engagement has skyrocketed! Last week, I integrated short videos and interactive quizzes, which made the lessons feel more dynamic. Has anyone else tried similar approaches? I’d love to hear what worked for you.

I’ve found incorporating audio podcasts really enhances listening skills too — have you tried that yet?

I totally get the multimedia boost — using music and lyrics can also get students super engaged! @emily_rivers92, have you ever tried letting students create their own music videos as a project? It adds a lot of fun and creativity! What’s your favorite type of multimedia to use?

I love the idea of using short videos! Have you thought about letting students create their own video summaries? It really boosts creativity. :grinning_face_with_smiling_eyes:.
